The first club event of the year is on Tuesday, September 29th, at 6:30PM in Russell Hall. All women
of the parish are welcome. If you haven’t decided about joining the club yet, this is the perfect event to try it out! We have an exciting year planned and are anxious to share it with you. Sign up at the Women’s Club membership table in the atrium or vestibule.
The St. Catherine of Siena Women’s Club invites you to become a
member! All women of the St. Catherine of Siena community
are welcome to join us for faith, fellowship, learning and
fun at as many monthly meetings that you can attend. We will
have a membership drive after all Masses on this weekend 9/26-
27. Members of the club will be in the atrium and vestibule to
welcome you and answer your questions. Membership forms
and $10.00 for dues can be submitted after Mass during the
drive or mailed to Lori Martensen (mailing details on the membership
form).

Applications are now being accepted for the Women’s & Men’s Club Scholarships. There will be two $1,000 scholarships awarded this year to high school seniors who are members of St. Catherine. Selection is based on past service to St. Catherine and/or additional community service. Applications are available in the vestibule and atrium. The deadline for submission is May 1, 2009.

Dr. Anita Kelsey and her team will share how women can reduce their risk of heart disease, an illness which is often underestimated by women but which causes the death of one in three women who die each year. All women of the parish are welcome to attend. Join us for an educational evening including healthy treats!

Please join us on Saturday, April 11th, for our 2nd Annual Alleluia Party following the 8PM Easter Vigil Mass, as we continue our Easter celebrations. Light appetizers and desserts will be served, with beverages for adults and children. A Soup and Bread meal will be hosted by the Women’s Club following the Ash Wednesday 6PM Mass. Kid-friendly macaroni & cheese will also be served. All parishioners are welcome as we begin the Lenten season with fellowship and a simple meal. Sign-up sheets to make soup or help out are in the atrium/vestibule.
