The “Feed the Hungry” youth group visited the Hartford shelter last Saturday and fed approximately 130 people on a rainy 40 degree day. Soup was added to the menu due to the weather and it was a big hit! This month’s volunteers included: Christina Napolitano, Caroline Carew, Sara Rice, Megan Tighe, Lauren McCann, Dan Brennan, Kayla Zantow and Mikayla Sheary. Adult chaperone’s were Karen Carew and Judy Pluta. Our next visit will take place on Saturday, May 22nd.
