The purpose of this ministry is to assist members of the parish and the larger Simsbury and neighboring communities with cost-effective, healthy food choices. Anyone may take advantage of the Blessings in the Box resources. As a parish, we can help out a neighbor, friend or stranger by purchasing one of several offerings each month. Selections for May 2010 can be viewed at www.angelfoodministries.com and printed menus are available in the atrium or vestibule.
Orders are due by Thursday, May 13th, at 11:00AM. At this time, orders can be placed online at any time (credit/debit card payments) or in person at St. Catherine’s on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-10:30AM. Cash, checks (from parishioners), or Food Stamp payments are accepted. Distribution Day is Saturday, May 22nd, between 9:30-11AM. Please remember to bring your receipt and a large box for each unit order. Volunteers will be on hand to direct you to the pick up are and assist you with your order.
